Terror
TERROR IN TEL AVIV

By now, we all know about the heinous terror attack that occurred last night (Wednesday) in Tel Aviv, murdering four Israelis and wounding more.

At the end of the AFSI Chizuk mission last night, several members of the group were dropped off at the airport to return to the States; others continued to Tel Aviv around the time of the attack.

This attack felt personal for AFSI travelers. After spending a week traveling around Israel, visiting beleaguered communities in the Shomron and meeting with longtime friends - the feeling of belonging to Am Yisrael was never stronger.

AFSI's Co-Executive Director, Judy Kadish, provides us with the following insights about the latest events:

There is an uproar about the terror attack in Tel Aviv - and there should be. But why, we ask, is it only "I am Tel Aviv" or "Je Suis Tel Aviv". The civilized world needs to wake up now and say "I am Israel"!

Terror is part of everyday life in Judea, Samaria, the Jordan Valley and Jerusalem. Attacks are being prevented many times daily by highly trained and equipped security people. On Tuesday, the AFSI mission was in Samaria (the northern "West Bank") visiting the community of Ateret. We saw their pinat cham, which is a resting place for weary soldiers to have a bit of coffee or other sustenance during their many hours of guard duty.

We met their Rav Shatz - the equivalent of the sheriff of the area, whose name is Yair, and our good friend Marc Prowisor, security expert and head of security projects for the One Israel Fund. As a former Rav Shatz of the Shiloh region in Samaria, Marc is an expert at assessing security needs and helping to fill them.

In Ateret, he had supplied the local security chief with a new and lighter bullet-proof vest to make it easier to jump in a vehicle and respond to an emergency, a portable thermal camera and other needed security and medical equipment. He also arranged to supply them with cameras - including thermal systems so that all through the day and night cameras could scan the region for potential attackers, and neutralize them before they have a chance to begin doing their damage.

Last night's attack happened right next to the Azrieli Center, the towers that have become a symbol of modern, high tech Tel Aviv. Reprehensibly, and as usual, the PA distributed candy to celebrate another victory for what must be called "the incitement intifada".

Handing out candy

Celebratory gunfire

Israelis save lives;
"Palestinians" celebrate death

The Arabs who call themselves Palestinians want all of Israel; they consider it all "occupied" territory. And so they incite their youth by any means to carry out attacks against Jews.

But they are not going to get it - not one inch. By bringing the terror to a tourist area inside the "Tel Aviv bubble" and celebrating the deaths and injuries there, these terrorists just may have sounded a wake-up call.

Israel cannot be expected to negotiate a "two state solution" with known terrorists. In fact, Israel should not negotiate a "two-state solution" at all! Incidents like this should get the world to understand that this is the Middle East, where weakness is exploited. One such weakness was permitting the Arabs to build a huge apartment complex - actually a mini-city - called Rawabi, on land supposedly totally controlled by Jews in "Area C". From Ateret, you need only look across the valley to see this monstrosity with the Palestinian flag flying high alongside it. When Israel shows such weakness, it only emboldens the terrorists.

Rawabi - Apartment complex/city that is supposed to enable "Palestinians" to live like human beings and give up their dream of destroying Israel and killing all the Jews

Am Yisrael - the Jewish people - are the indigenous people of the entire Land of Israel, with roots going back to Biblical times, and with absolute and indisputable legal rights going back to the early 20th century. Israel is Jewish; it always was, and since this is the land G-d gave to the Jews, it always will be.

AM YISRAEL CHAI!

Rally at Governor Cuomo's New York City Office on June 9
When: Thursday June 9 5:30 PM
Where: Cuomo's NYC office 633 Third Avenue (between 40th and 41st) New York City
On Sunday Governor Cuomo signed an executive order that would punish groups involved in the boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement supporting Palestinian rights. This Thursday we will respond to his undemocratic action by holding a rally outside his NYC office. Please join CODEPINK, Adalah-NY, Jewish Voice for Peace-NY; and Jews Say No! in telling Cuomo that he may not assault the First Amendment and our right to boycott!
This week begins the 50th year of the occupation of the West bank and East Jerusalem.  We know how crucial the BDS work such as the Remodel RE/MAX and Airbnb Stolen Homescampaigns are, and that is why we must not let Gov. Cuomo get away with attacking our right to boycott!

In ANSWER to Code Pink, ADALAH-NY, "Jewish?! Voice for Peace?!!?"

It is not a first Amendment right to be antisemitic and Boycott  Jewish Business as did the Nazi Regime preceding the Holocaust!  It is not a first Amendment right to tell lies and slander that Israel is illegally Occupying Palestinian Land.

Judea and Samaria and Temple Mount have been Promised to the Jewish People via G-d's Covenant to Abraham Isaac and Jacob.

We have endless archaeological proof that Jews have settled the Land of the Bible for thousands of years.

We have proof that the Palestinians don't even go back this century, let alone do they have any claim whatsoever to the Jewish Biblical Homeland!

The Palestinians have last names that will tell you where they are from be it Egypt, Syria, Jordan Saudi Arabia etc. They are an invented people.  That is why their new museum has nothing in it but a nice structure.  It is empty of content!

Now Here is the Truth!

Palestinians are a non people. They happen to be ARAB!  The name Palestine comes from the name the Romans gave Israel, taking it from the ancient Philistines.  The ancient Philistines have no genetic connection to the "Palestinians" of today.

Jews of today can trace their ancestry back to the Twelve Tribes of Israel. The Romans renamed Israel as Palestine since they wished to erase Jewish connection to the Land of Israel.  Recently, many countries, members of the United Nations have followed the path of the Romans.  They too officially changed and renamed Har HaBayit, Maarat HaMechpela, Kever Rochel to Arab names in order to erase any Jewish Connection.

Israel was attacked from all sides and only then became a sovereign state following Wars that they did not initiate but did win fair and square with G-d's miracles playing a major role! From a military standpoint, Judea and Samaria was captured and won in a fair and legitimate military conquest.

Legally as well Howard Grief petition to the Senate and Congress outlines US legal commitments to Jewish sovereignty from the Jordan to the Mediterranean!  Anyone interested in this petition can contact myself or Renanah Gemeiner RANANAH GOLDHAR rgoldhar2@sympatico.ca

So to reiterate:

The rights of Judea and Samaria to the Jewish People is supported by
  • The Bible
  • History
  • Archeology
  • Military
  • Legally

Lies have no legs to stand on and is destined to topple.  Truth will prevail!  Shame on all those who betray their own people.

Shomron
Visiting the Shomron - The Heartland of Israel

On Tuesday, the AFSI group focused on the Shomron (Samaria) region of Israel. They made a stop in Amona, a community that has constantly been under threat of expulsion. They met with community leaders who briefed the group on their plans to continue resisting the government forces aligned against them.

They continued to Ateret, an Israeli town overlooking the new huge Arab city of Rawabi, and from there, continued to the city of Ariel. They visited the new community of Netzer Ariel, built by refugees from the community of Netzarim in Gaza, destroyed during the Gaza expulsion in 2005.

Never to miss an opportunity to meet with good friend Lenny Goldberg, the group continued through the infamous Tapuach Junction to Kfar Tapuach.

They then visited the community of Yitzhar, home of Ayelet and Akiva HaCohen and Ezra Tubi. Ezra is well-known for his You Tube videos that show Israel in its true colors. For example, this famous video, Imagine - The Israeli Version.

Next stop was Chavat Gilad (Gilad Farm), named after Gilad Zar who was murdered by Arabs in 2001. Considered "illegal" by Israeli authorities, the residents of Chavat Gilad live a harsh life under tremendous pressure. More can be learned about the bravest of individuals living there, by clicking on this link:

After a full day spent visiting friends throughout the Shomron, the group returned to Jerusalem for dinner, and hosted the newest Knesset member, Yehuda Glick. Yehuda was the Executive Director of the Temple Institute, and has led many Jews on tour of the Temple Mount. In October 2014, he was seriously wounded in a murder attempt when he was shot outside the Begin Center in Jerusalem. Today he is a member of the Likud party and continues to be the face of the Jewish struggle for prayer rights at the Temple Mount.
