I have serious issues with Dershowitz. I am especially concerned because his promotion of a 2 State Solution is more dangerous than someone who is our enemy. He is more influential to convince the powers at large to implement a 2 State Solution than our enemies. Just like the expulsion of Gush Katif came under Likud, and diehard Sharon and Begin orchestrated the giving away of Sinai.
Who knows how much influence he is having on Trump as the messages from the Trump Adminsitration are supportive of a 2 State Solution. This is a reversal of the 1967 Victory.
I commend him for supporting the Yeshiva at Sderot.
Had 22 communities of Gush Katif not been expelled, Sderot would not have been under fire.
He is an amazing Speaker and often does a stupendous job defending Israel.
He addresses the symptoms but not the root.
His dedication to protect the Freedom of Speech of BDS is most damaging!
He is being used by those who use the System to destroy the System as is the recommended modus operandi of Civilization Jihad of the Muslim Brotherhood for North America.
BDS indoctrination is protected by Dershowitz. These BDS people who he defends then control the narrative and suppress all the Pro Israel speakers under their justification that speakers who are Pro Israel are racist, defending the Occupation which violates Palestinian human rights Islamaphobic and totally insensitive to religious freedom, insensitive to the Muslims population etc.
The outcome is that Linda Sarsour is the invited speaker at CUNY and Noni Darwish, David Freedman of the Freedom Center etc are disinvited because they pose a security threat of all those offended Muslims and/or scheduled in places and times so that it is inconvenient for people to come and inaccessable
I don't see Dershowitz addressing the suppression of Pro Israel demonstrators in the Park Slope Food coop. They are 4 long term members who were thrown out for protesting a BDS presentation at the PSFC general meeting in 2014. They have no legal case as far as he is concerned as they disrupted the BDS agenda item at the General Meeting and probably got what they deserved for the disruption. They were suspended from the food coop and for 8 years pro Israel narrative is suppressed because BDS is in control of the narrative and couldn't give a hoot about pro Israel freedom of speech.
The officers and Board Members of PSFC were democratically elected by members who have been fed lies so how can we get rid of the BDS in the Park Slope Food Coop after they have succeeded in brainwashing 17,000 members with BDS lies and propaganda that Dershowitz is so dedicated to defend as it is their 1st Amendment rights?
Torah Jews do not have Freedom of Speech. We are extremely careful with our speech. Just ask the Chofetz Chaim.
Please also ask him if it pays to celebrate the reunification of Jerusalem and the settlement of Judea and Samaria and the 6 day war if he is pushing for a Palestinian State which will reverse the miracle and whose charter calls for the destruction of Israel and whose education includes teaching the children about Nakba and how Acco and Jaffa are really Palestinian Territory and Israel is the Occupation and they glorify jihad and Shaheeds. From the River to the Sea is part of their United Nations paid education for these impressionable children. Does he promote that Israel take over and revamp their education or surely this would be a terrible infringement on their Freedom of Expression.
And does he respect the Bible and the fact that there was a Covenant with our Forefathers that the Land of Israel is the designated Heritage of the Nation of Israel, the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and we are obligated to keep the commandments?
Not sure why your shul is promoting this guy. I would like Moshe Goldsmith former Mayor of Itamar to get a private reception asking for hundreds of Dollars per person for the privilege of meeting with him. He deserves it so much more...

Maybe you can ask him these questions since I don't want pay the entrance fee especially when I'd prefer that my resources go to my brothers and sister who are on the front line, living in Judea and Samaria, building and settling and holding on to the Land with their fingertips against our outside enemies and need to justify their property rights from fellow Jews who wish them to leave as well.
