We had a great night commemorating the Yartzeit of Rachel Imeinu and hearing from some amazing and inspiring speakers, from the riveting history of Rav Ron Yitzchok Eisenman, to radio talk show host Cindy Grosz, who was honored with our chesed award. New York State Senator Marty Golden was there, as were Shani and Dov Hikind who came to introduce Cindy and show their support for RCRF Founder and longtime friend Evelyn Hayes. The Flatbush Girl, Adina Miles, also came to support our honorees and introduce the scholarly Jon Greenberg of "Torah Flora" fame. Plus, we were honored to hear from Joshua Wander who is carrying on in the footsteps of the late great Ari Fuld, z"l. The cover picture for our photo album was done by none other than the lovely Yaeli Vogel of the Five Towns, whose beautiful paintings graced our stage during the entire night, and who was honored with our Rachel Imeinu Aishes Chayil Award. Check out the highlights of our big night here.
If you missed this informative and inspiring presentation for the Yahrzeit of Rachel Imeinu you can still participate in our important work. Donations will help RCRF, the organization that held a huge Hachnasas Sefer Torah attended by thousands at Rachel's Tomb. The success of this event and our lobbying at the Knesset got Kever Rachel open 24 hours a day until this day, and got regular bus service, armored buses to take people to Yerushalayim to the Kever. RCRF also raised money to purchase of the property next door which got Kever Rachel included in the Jerusalem boundary. RCRF is the only organization hosting women's learning at the Kever.
Join us! You too can make a difference. You can receive a journal with a $36 donation, a DVD of the dinner for $50, sponsor classes in honor of, in memory of, for the benefit of, for $360, $3600, $36,000. Help us build a Memorial Tear recognizing all the Jewish victims of terror in the Jewish homeland.
Rachel Imeinu promised to bring Bnei Rachel back to the borders of Eretz Hakodesh because of her midos, empathy and activism. Love is her cure. She is the true mother creating, nourishing, teaching, inspiring, caring and sharing true Torah values for over 3600 years.
