STOP KILLING JEWS IN ISRAEL AFSI Protests the Murder of Ori Ansbacher | | A "minyan," led by Americans For A Safe Israel/AFSI, together with Judean Resistance of NY, gathered on Second Avenue in NYC, opposite the Israel Consulate, on Monday afternoon, February 11, to mourn the recent PA terrorist murder of Ori Ansbacher, a beautiful 19 year-old Israeli woman. Led by Americans for a Safe Israel/AFSI, the group of stalwarts carried signs, made by Charlie Bernhaut, bearing three major messages. The first was a condemnation of Abbas for his "Pay to Slay" program which pays salaries to terrorists and their families. The more horrible the crime, the higher the salary. Judy Freedman Kadish, Co-Executive Director of AFSI called for Abbas to be put on trial for his war crimes in promoting mass murder of Israelis and Americans. Charlie Bernhaut echoed her remarks, as did Hillary Barr. Glenn Richter emphasized the evil of the murderer, Arafat Irfayia, who had been arrested on the Temple Mount two years ago carrying a knife, and who vowed that he would return to use it to kill.
The second theme was a condemnation of the United Nations for not denouncing this murderous program of Abbas and the PA. Danny Danon, Israel's ambassador to the UN has often spoken about this failure on the part of the UN. Action must be taken to remedy this travesty.
Finally, it was made clear that we were standing outside the Israel Consulate in a show of support for Israel. We trust the Israelis will find some answer to this intolerable situation where PA children are taught from the earliest ages to hate Israelis and seek to murder them. We offer sincere condolences to the Ansbacher family and pray that they will know no more sorrows. At the request of Congressman Scott Perry (R-PA) and Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-NY), the United States Government Accountability Office declassified a 65 page document published in 2018. The report exposes the truth about schools in Palestinian Authority areas run by UNWRA showing that they have an anti-Israel bias, bordering on incitement to violence
Commenting in a press release last week, Rep. Zeldin stated: "It is unacceptable that the textbooks that are used delegitimize Israel and demonize the Jewish people, it is unacceptable that this program attempts to engrain this hatred in the hearts of children. "American's hard earned money went towards its funding and it is unacceptable that the State Department lied to Congress about these very realities."

A Palestinian suspect was arrested by Border Police at the Kiosk checkpoint in Abu Dis for holding funds intended to finance terrorist activities.
A Police spokesperson said, "Border Police soldiers, together with the security forces in Judea and Samaria, will continue to operate against money smugglers, weapons and merchandise that may reach the hands of terrorist elements in order to protect public safety."
