I told him that I realize that this is a Parlor meeting and a Fund Raiser for Mike Huckabee's Presidential campaign and asked how much it would cost to attend this Parlor meeting. Ruben said that if we contribute a minimum of $180 we are invited. See invitation below to RSVP! Even if you can not make the meeting you might consider contributing to Mike Huckabee's campaign in any event.

Yes,  I know.. we in the Jewish community are inundated with many worthy Jewish causes.  I hear you ask.  Why should we try to contribute a nontrivial amount to support Mike Huckabee even though it is not tax deductible and he is not in the lead at the moment?

This is the way I see it.  

First of all as Rubin Margolis put it, because of Hakoras Hatov!!!! Basic appreciation. We are indebted to Mike Huckabee for being a Strong Voice for Israel and specifically for East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria!

Among the Republican candidates,  Huckabee's vision more than the other Candidates, has the moral clarity and conscience rooted in the Bible, necessary to fight Radical Islam. We are in the midst of a theological War. Obama's fecklessness must be addressed.  The teachings of Mohammad must be exposed as being the blueprint for modern day Radical Islamic barbarity. It is mind boggling to contemplate the territory ISIS has amassed in such a short period of time not to mention the staggering wealth it has accumulated by brutal force and subjugation,   By Standing with Israel and the G-d of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, Huckabee's vision is the fire that can with G-d's help stop and destroy the spread of Radical Islam. 

But of course I  don't expect you to make your decision on whether or not to contribute to Mike Huckabee Presidential campaign on my opinion alone....  Please check out these links and videos of Huckabee speaking with moral clarity, vision and sanity in a very dangerous world.   It's not even about the presidential campaign anymore. It's about fighting and overcoming evil and replacing it with truth and light.
