Marine Park is looking forward this Shabbat in meeting and connecting with Rabbi Moshe and Leah Goldsmith form Itamar, Shomron. We too wish to share in their struggle to hold on to our precious land in Eretz Yisroel. We want them to know that they are not isolated. Acheinu Beit Yisroel Anachnu Imachem. Our Brothers and Sisters in Israel, We Are With You!
It is no secret what they have to face each and every day with terror on the roads and daily knivings, stonings, fire crackers and cars racing into into people waiting at busstops or walking down the streets. We hear the news and we too cry. It could have been us, our parent, our child...chas Veshalom.....The victims are often the cream of the crop....If this is their judgement than what awaits us in the heavenly court?
But the Jews in Judea and Samaria do not run away in face of terror attacks. They double down and turn tragedy into triumph. We solute our dear Brothers and Sisters living in Judea and Samaria, whose lives are on the line, slandered and attacked physically, emotionally and in their pocketbooks, economically.
We want to express our deep HaKarat Hatov for them holding down the fort.
We must try to help them, support them financially, psychologically and validate on a Torah level as well. We want to encourage them and emulate them, honor them and pray for their and our collective welfare. Life can not be taken for granted.
What comforts them, what brings some balm to the deep emotional pain of such a seemingly senseless loss of loved ones, be it friend or relative, is feeling the love and unity and warm embrace of Acheinu Beit Yisroel. Surely this is the Ratzon, the desire of Hashem Yitbarach!!! That we unite as One...
Please G-d enough of human sacrifices...
