Rallies
Rallies!
Thursday, October 15, 12:30 PM
Sunday, October 18, 12:00 PM & 5:00 PM
Monday, October 19, 5:30 PM

Come rally to show your support for Israel! At this time of great danger to Israel and her citizens we must take to the streets to show our support and show the world that we will not remain silent.

We cannot ignore the terror. TERROR WILL NOT DISAPPEAR IF WE TURN AWAY FROM IT. WE MUST CONFRONT IT. Here, in relative safety where the battlefield is public opinion, that means exposing and opposing it.

Besides writing letters and calling talk radio shows, we must make a public display. Rallies get air time and exposure across all media.

There are several rallies in New York City and environs over the next several days. Please make the effort to attend as many as you can and please spread the word. NUMBERS COUNT. WE CANNOT LEAVE THE STREETS TO OUR ENEMIES.

Thursday, October 15, 12:30 PM
UNITY RALLY IN SOLIDARITY WITH ISRAEL: DEMAND AN END TO TERROR
A number of Jewish organizations, led by Rabbi Avi Weiss of the Coalition for Jewish Concerns - AMCHA will hold a solidarity rally with Israel outside of the Israeli Consulate, located at 800 Second Avenue, between 42nd & 43rd Street.

Protestors will gather with Israeli and American flags and demand an end to the terror in Israel.

"Our brothers and sisters in Israel are facing incessant terror attacks. The murder of a rabbi and his wife in front of their 4 children. Shooting and stabbing on a public bus. Ramming cars into people waiting at a bus stop. From out of nowhere, more and more random stabbings. We declare loudly and clearly: Israel, you are not alone - we stand with you! The jihad against Israel must end," said Rabbi Avi Weiss.

Sunday, October 18, 12:00 PM
The Queens Jewish Link will hold a ribbon cutting, press conference and rally outside its new office to denounce the recent terror attacks in Israel.

Attended by Distinguished Community Leaders, Elected Officials and Rabbis.
68-68 Main St. Flushing, NY 11367
This event was originally a ribbon-cutting for our new office, but due to the situation in Israel, we added this important Rally and Press conference to the program. Please come and let everyone know! Refreshments provided.

Kerry
Kerry - We are sick of your chutzpah

Dear John,

How dare you claim that the recent terror attacks perpetrated by "Palestinians" are caused by Israeli "settlements" in Judea and Samaria. How dare you claim a moral equivalence between terror committed by Arab terrorists (with the blessing of the #1 terrorist, Mahmoud Abbas), with the victims of terror, innocent Israelis/Jews just trying to go about their daily lives.

"There's been a massive increase in settlements over the course of the last years," Kerry said during a question-and-answer session, "and there's an increase in the violence because there's this frustration that's growing."

Did you think we would actually believe you and take this lying down? Remember, John, those days are long gone. As will yours as Secretary State be in a little over a year.

We are watching you and listening to what you say, John. Don't forget.

Very truly yours,
The American People who are sick of your unmitigated gall and bald-faced lies .

BETAR, Jabotinsky and the Shtetl
Throughout the 1930s, Jewish political movements in Warsaw set out to transform the hearts and minds of Jewish youth in small towns across Poland. Among these urban activists were the leaders of Betar, the youth movement of Vladimir Jabotinsky's Revisionist party. Armed with longstanding stereotypes about shtetl life, Betar leaders were certain that bringing "modernity" and "progress" to these towns would mobilize their youth for the Zionist cause. Drawing on YIVO's collection of youth autobiographies from the 1930s, and previously unexamined correspondence between Betar's headquarters in Warsaw and its small-town outposts, Daniel Heller (McGill University) reveals the tensions that arose between these urban activists and the young Jews they sought to transform.
