Today! Brooklyn Rally Wednesday 6pm Brooklyn Jewish Children's Museum: Calling On Members of Congress to Vote Against Iran Deal http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/headlines-breaking-stories/337940/brooklyn-rally-wednesday-calling-on-members-of-congress-to-vote-against-iran-deal.html

Councilman David G. Greenfield, Senator Jesse Hamilton and Assemblyman Dov Hikind will host a rally to call on Brooklyn Congress members to oppose the Iran deal. Greenfield and the other Brooklyn elected officials will rally to urge their colleagues in Congress to oppose the deal with Iran. The museum is located on 792 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn. Everyone who is opposed to the deal is encouraged to attend Wednesday's rally. -

From Lynne and Nessim Tamam:

2) TOMORROWWED. 8/26 AT 12 NOON, YOUR PRESENCE IN FRONT OF CONGRESSWOMAN MALONEY'S OFFICE AT 1651  3RD AVE. (E. 93RD ST.)  IS URGENTLY NEEDED.    Congresswoman Maloney has not issued a formal statement opposing the deal yet.   Enormous pressure is being exerted upon her by Pres. Obama and his Administration.  Congresswoman Maloney's vote is critical because she has the potential to be the standard-bearer for Democrats who want to defect and oppose the deal with Iran.  It is critical that there be a formidable presence to counter the MoveOn.org effort to pressure her into supporting the deal wth Iran.   Congresswoman Maloney has been with us every Yom Hashoah in front of the Iranian Mission to the U.N.   She has always been a consistent supporter of the strongest possible sanctions against Iran and has spoken vociferously about the danger of a nuclear Iran and the existential threat it poses for Israel.

For those who asked, the Lexington Ave. subway line is the most efficient way to get to Congresswoman Maloney's office.  You can take the number 6 local train or the Express 4 or 5 to E. 96th St.   From Penn Station, you can take any Uptown train to 42nd St. and then catch the Shuttle to Grand Central Station where you can get the 4, 5, or 6 trains.

3) ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST AT 5:30, THERE WILL BE A RALLY IN FRONT OF 780 THIRD AVENUE (AT E. 49TH ST.) WHERE SENATORS SCHUMER AND GILLIBRAND HAVE THEIR OFFICES.
This rally has two critical purposes.  One is to thank Senator Schumer for his commitment to reject the proposed agreement with Iran and to override Pres. Obama's expected veto and to urge him to lead his colleagues to do the same.  The second is to express our profound disappointment with Senator Gillibrand's decision to support the disastrous deal with Iran.   The message will be sent to Senator Gillibrand that it is our hope that she will reconsider her decision given the recent revelations regarding the woefully inadequate system of inspection and verification that is expected to be implemented, the minimal probability of enforcement and "snap-back sanctions,"  and the admission of Secretary Moniz that the agreement will increase global terrorism if implemented.

Survivors of Iranian-sponsored terrorism, Holocaust survivors, veterans, and local elected officials will join thousands of citizens who are alarmed about the terms of the proposed Iran nuclear agreement.  Senator Lindsey Graham and former Senator Joe Lieberman, demonstrating true bi-partisanship, will appear together at 6:00 p.m. to deliver what we are told will be major foreign policy remarks in opposition to the Iran deal.  As Jeff Wiesenfeld expressed, "We are  grateful to both of these great American statemen acting in the spirit of the late Henry Jackson, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Frank Church, and others who preceded them."

With your help during this last critical period before the vote in Congress, we can stop the misguided and dangerous path upon which President Obama and his Administration have embarked.  Please make sure everyone on your lists is notified about these rallies.   The presence of every person makes a huge difference.

We will be able to say to our children and grandchildren that we did everything we could to prevent a nuclear Iran and to prevent $50 billion and $100 billion in contracts to be released to the world's foremost leader of state-sponsored terrorism.

With much appreciation for all your efforts,
Lynne and Nessim

Sincerely,

Robin Ticker
