Dear Friends,

Join us for an evening of support for the tremendously brave families living in the heart of the Old City of Jerusalem tonight, August 10th in the Young Israel of Great Neck (236 Middle Neck Road) at 8:15 PM.   The program will feature a new film and an unforgettable presentation.

Tears are simply not enough on this Tisha B'Av.  We need to support our brethren who are residing in Jerusalem in security-challenged areas.  THESE COURAGEOUS FAMILIES ARE INSTRUMENTAL IN FILLING THE OLD CITY WITH JEWISH LIFE, GUARANTEEING ACCESS TO OUR OUR JEWISH HOLY SITES, AND KEEPING  JERUSALEM UNITED.  As we know, much of the tragedy and destruction that has befallen the Jewish people were a result of baseless hatred and division.  On this Tisha B'Av, may our unconditional support and love for Jewish families living in Jerusalem, who are at risk without our help, merit Hashem's mercy.

Friends of Ateret Cohanim/Jerusalem Chai will use all donations to fund summer programs and secure playgrounds, which give children a much needed respite from dangers they face every day, in addition to critically needed security cameras.

Light refreshments will be served.

Hoping to see you tonight,

Lynne
