Abbas at the White House - Same Old Demands, Same Taqiyya

Holocaust denier and terrorist enabler Mahmoud Abbas met with President Trump at the White House earlier today. After their meeting they held a press conference where both spoke without taking questions. The press conference, approximately 15 minutes long, can be seen on C-Span here: Abbas-Trump at the White House.

President Trump spoke in generalities and platitudes about the need for peace after so many years of strife, about the desire of both Israelis and "Palestinians" for peace, and his hope to start a new "peace process" where a deal between the parties can be reached. He called on the "Palestinians" to renounce terrorism, saying, "There could be no lasting peace unless the Palestinian leaders speak in a unified voice against incitement to violence and hate."

Abbas, speaking in front of the US president and world media, put on his usual taqiyya performance, lying about the "Palestinians" being a people of peace and of children being raised with the hopes of peace. He stated that the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002 should be used as a basis for negotiations, with a Palestinian state established along the 1967 "borders" and "East" Jerusalem as its capital. These demands, of course, are nonstarters, and are no more than a prescription for Israel's demise.

What does it all mean? Superficially, not much. However, we shall see in the coming days and months whether President Trump believes there is substance he can latch onto to bring the Israelis and "Palestinians" to the negotiating table. Will he see through Abbas' lies and empty promises, and understand that the Israelis do not have a negotiating partner? Or, like so many past presidents, will he pressure Israel to make "concessions for peace", with the (false) hope that this will lead to the ultimate triumph?

Throughout their brief and illegitimate history, the "Palestinians" have demanded concessions in advance of any negotiation, just to cajole them to negotiate, and thus act like civilized adults! Otherwise, they have behaved like children, who whine and cry when they don't get their way. However, in their case, they replace the whining and crying with violence and terror.

The bottom line is: carving up the Jewish homeland by creating an Arab state in Israel's heartland--Judea and Samaria--can never be permitted to happen. Negotiations with this as an end goal are fated to fail. President Trump MUST know this.

The city of Sderot is on the front line of Israel, only one kilometer from the Gaza Strip. For years it has born the brunt of rocket attacks originating from Gaza. Its stalwart residents bravely face each day not knowing when the Tzeva Adom (Color Red) rocket alert will sound, sending men, women and children running to shelters with seconds to spare.

The Sderot Hesder Yeshiva, founded in 1994 by Rabbi Dovid Fendel (originally from the US), has provided tremendous chizuk to Sderot, helping to revive the city and Israel's south, spiritually as well as economically.

It is one of the largest Hesder Yeshivot in all of Israel, with a student body of over 500 pupils from communities all over the country. In addition to studying, students demonstrate their commitment to the residents of Sderot through many volunteer projects.

NOW IS THE TIME TO SHOW SUPPORT FOR
SDEROT AND THE HESDER YESHIVA!
