ABOUT THE EVENT

Insights from the book - "HELLO, REFUGEES!" will be the focus of this evening. The book was written by best-selling author and journalist, Tuvia Tenenbom and researched together with his wife, Isi. "Hello, Refugees!" is about the current refugee crisis in Germany and how the Jews are blamed again in this process. The presentation will be delivered by both of them in a delightful give and take with the audience. Lecture followed by book signing of books available for purchase.

ABOUT TUVIA & ISI
TUVIA TENENBOM, the author of three Spiegel best sellers, is a journalist, dramatist, and the founder of the Jewish Theater of New York. 
Germany's prestigious newspaper Die Zeit named Tuvia Tenenbom and Prof. Harold Bloom "the best minds" in America.
Tuvia was named "founder of a new form of Jewish theater" by the French Le Monde.
As a journalist, Tuvia writes essays and op-ed articles for various publications. His articles and essays have been published in leading Western media. Die Zeit, Die Welt and Focus of Germany, Corriere della Sera of Italy, Yedioth Ahronoth, Makor Rishon, and The Jerusalem Post of Israel, and the American Fox News and Forward.
Born in Austria, and raised in Belgium, Italy, and Brazil, ISI TENENBOM is a linguist who speaks eight languages, and serves as the literary manager of the Jewish Theater of New York. Isi is a photojournalist, traveling with her husband, Tuvia Tenenbom, having documented all materials for I Sleep in Hitler's Room, Catch the Jew!, The Lies They Tell, and Hello, Refugees! Isi is also a professional translator with the New York court system. Isi's work has been published in Die Zeit, Der Spiegel, Corriere della Sera, Forward and others.
