AFSI is going to Israel!

Our Spring 2016 Chizuk Mission June 1-8 is fully booked, but be on the lookout for news about our
upcoming Fall, 2016 trip.

An AFSI Chizuk Mission - There's Nothing Like it!

Irony
Oh, the irony of it all

President Obama will be visiting Hiroshima in late May, and will be the first sitting American president to visit the site of the U.S. atomic bomb attack that helped bring WWII to a close. The big question many are asking is, will he apologize to the Japanese? Whether he does or not, the whole scenario is dripping with irony. As Frank Gaffney, founder of the Center for Security Policy says,
"This will be an irony, that the President is heading off to Hiroshima to bray about the need to rid the world of nuclear weapons," he said. "No President in our history has done more to catalyze proliferation - not just in the Pacific, but also in the Middle East, of course."

A damning indictment:

We do not expect the president to apologize to the Japanese, but if he did it would not be a surprise. What would be a surprise is if at the end of his eight year run as president, he apologizes to the American people for widening the racial, cultural and economic divides in the United States, and if he apologizes to America's allies for weakening and denigrating them while elevating America's enemies, and for causing chaos around the world, especially in the Middle East, leaving the world a much more dangerous place than when he entered office.
